We now have two blogs to keep you up to date with news from The Cotton Patch.
Our Patchwork and Quilting Blog has information and news on general aspects of patchwork and quilting. Courses, visits, gossip, quilts that people have made and visitors to the shop.
Our Whats New Blog has details on the latest products, fabrics, books and notions that appear on our website.
If you have never visited a blog before then don't be put off by the name, all it means is that it is like a normal web page but with a time stamp on it so it is similar to a diary entry. It does however have some extra features. You can leave comments on what we have written and you can also subscribe to the blog so that your software will tell you when we have posted something new.
Quilts UK, Malvern Quilt Show
The Cotton Patch will be at the Malvern Quilt Show from Thursday 15th May to Sunday 18th May 2008. We have a number of new items that we will be showcasing. these will include:
New DVD's from Patsy Thompson
Patsy Thompson has a wonderful set of DVD's on free motion machine quilting. Take a look at the samples from each of the DVD's that will be playing on the stand. We will have some excellent offers on these DVD's at the show making it a great time to improve your machine quilting techniques.
Sidewinder
If you haven't seen the new Sidewinder bobbin winder yet, take a look on our stand where we'll have one you can try out. Never run out of bobbins again - simply load up the winder with a spool of thread and wind your bobbins independently of your sewing machine. Good for classes too as it runs on batteries.
We'll have a Show Special Price too making it an even better idea!

Marti has been busy with some time-saving new products - the Hexagon Ruler which was the big hit of the Fabric Palettes Catalogue 2008, a new size of Log Cabin Ruler and the Strippers Templates which work really well with Strip Rolls.

Cartonnage
Box-making has always been popular with many of our customers and we hope you'll be as excited as we are about our new range of box-making and folders kits that are exclusive to Cotton Patch. Simply add your own fabrics and with the special book-binding glue you'll be finished in no time - a great project for an evening or a class with friends. They're brand new so not on our website yet but will be coming soon! Kits and glue will be available at the show.
Plus - Cotty thread, demos of machine quilting frames, hoops, craft boxes, wadding, fabrics etc....
