How to Order
We have
two websites available to customers.
Our
Secure Online Shopping Basket can be accessed at www.cottonpatch.co.uk.
It showcases over 3500 patchwork and quilting notions and fabrics and
includes over 500 books. Just browse the online Catalogue and click on any items
that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping basket. After you have
finished your selection you will be asked for a few details that we need to be
able to satisfy the order. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software
when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after
they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
However,
if you would rather send your credit card information via phone, fax, or post
you can print off our order form and complete the details using the reference
numbers and prices on the www.cottonpatch.co.uk site.
Our
“Special Products and Information Site” - www.cottonpatch.net
is designed to provide you with information about products such as quilting
frames, our sewing machines, more information on Quilt Design Software and
selected other items. You can print off our order form and complete the details
using the reference numbers and prices on the site and place your order by
phone, fax or post.
You can move between the sites using your browser buttons or our menu buttons.

Placing an Order
Our secure online patchwork and quilting shop
If you do
not wish to use the Secure Online Shopping Basket you will need to note the
title, reference number and price of the items you would like to buy.
Please include your Cotton Patch Club membership number (if you have it
to hand) if you are claiming a discount. Please note that Club discounts apply
to the order value before postage is added.
Orders by Post: click on Order Form and then print it out (you will need Adobe Reader installed). Enter product refs, prices etc on the Order Form. This information can either be found in our current catalogues or newsletters or from our online shop. This form has all the necessary information to enable you to complete your order. Send the completed order form in the post to us at the address on the order form.
Orders by Fax: click on Order Form as above (you will need Adobe Reader installed). Enter product refs, prices etc on the Order Form. This information can either be found in our current catalogues or newsletters or from our online shop. This form has all the necessary information to enable you to complete your order. We have capped the postage rate for UK Standard Service orders to a maximum of £4.95 until 31st August 2007. This means a saving of up to £2 on orders valued at £60 to £150.

Please select your preferred method of postage according to the value of your order and enter the charge in the postage box on the order form.
Priority Service and Special Delivery
We aim to despatch the same business day (Monday to Friday) for orders received before 11a.m. and the next business day for orders received after 11a.m. for both these services. Both services are subject to product availability and weight and/or size restrictions on some products (such as quilting frames).
Orders for a large selection of fabric cut to order may take longer to process but we will advise you in this case. It is important that you provide a daytime telephone number so that we can contact you if we need to discuss delivery of your order.
(1) Our Priority Service uses Royal Mail First Class or a similar service.
(2) Our Special Delivery uses Royal Mail Special Delivery, a service that guarantees delivery before 1pm on the day after despatch (by Monday if despatched on a Friday. it is available to most areas of the UK. Special Delivery is not available for same day despatch on Saturday or Sunday
Overseas Postage and Packing
For overseas orders and BFPO orders Postage and packing is charged at actual cost.
